Thanks be to God 6.19.22
You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions. Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. (Colossians 1:21–22)
Look at how God loves you. Take the time to look at the contrast between what we have done and what God has done. We (through our behavior and indifference) made ourselves enemies of God. God on the other hand reconciled us by sending Christ; He brought us into His presence. Because of this, we stand before Him as sinless individuals. He did all of it!
The pious Christian is the one who at best, does not understand the gospel (we don't have anything to feel arrogant about). At worst, they are not really believers. They are people who still think they can earn their salvation.
Give thanks for God's grace and the transformation that goes with it.
