Meeting Together 7.31.22
“16 When he came to the village of Nazareth, his boyhood home, he went as usual to the synagogue on the Sabbath and stood up to read the Scriptures.” (Luke 4:16)
Even the Son of God felt attendance at worship was valuable. Jesus went "as usual" to the synagogue.
Hebrews 10:25 tells us not to forsake (skip) meeting together (in-person worship). I love the fact that people can watch services from all over the world. However, it is not the same as in-person worship because when we are together, we encourage each other. You encourage me, and I encourage you. We don't just need information; we need each other!
If you are on the fence regarding whether or not to attend church worship today . . . here's your nudge!
