God's Will for Your Life 9.18.22
“16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Have you ever asked, "I wonder what God's will is for my life?" If so, here you go! We want to know what great things God wants us to DO . . . His will focuses on the character He wants us to possess and develop. If you don't feel there is something He has called you to be then be what the person He wants you to be in whatever you are doing.
We desperately need believers who will stand out from the world; people who will be kind rather than selfish; reasonable rather than impulsive; discerning rather than gullible; compassionate rather than indifferent; responsible rather than waiting for handouts, joy-filled rather than critical; thankful rather than complaining. trusting and praying rather than wild and unfocused.
We serve the Lord more by who we are than by what we do.
